Bikaner

Set my alarm for 6 to see the sunrise, which then for some reason didn’t go off so we missed the colorful bit before the sun rises, but we did see the sun rise. Had a quick breakfast and then headed back to Bikaner on a camel cart, which was probably more uncomfortable then the actual camel! Said our goodbyes to the camel men and headed back to our room. Got picked up by Sud and taken to Lallgarth Palace which was one of the Maharaja's palaces - its now a museum and hotel, the museum was closed for renovations but we walked around the outside and took a few photos as it was a impressive building. Next we headed to a miniature painting school where we were shown the tools of the trade, Bec had her fingernail painted so tiny you could barely see it without a magnifying glass! We ended up buying a small picture of an Indian Ringneck parakeet (like Taj) but in green, they didn’t have any blue ones unfortunately.
Up early again tomorrow morning and on to Jaisalamer which im looking forward to!
